MAMA’s Vision: For there to be no more preventable stillbirths in the UK. MAMA Academy is a UK charity which has been helping save babies lives since 2012. Sadly, the UK has one of the highest stillbirth rates in the developed world with the majority of deaths potentially preventable. We empower parents with safer pregnancy information, educate healthcare professionals on stillbirth prevention methods and raise awareness of the issues around stillbirth and early infant mortality. Our midwifery resources aid consistent maternity care across the country; improving outcomes for families and their precious babies. MAMA’s Objectives: • Raise awareness of Babyloss and statistics • Raise awareness of stillbirth prevention methods amongst professionals • Change the taboo that nothing can be done to prevent baby loss • Assist trusts with mortality reviews • Fund and assist medical research into the prevention of baby loss Registered Charity No: 1153325
