Mancunians RL

Mancunians RL are one of the most progressive rugby league clubs in the North West. Created in April 2009 they have rapidly grown from a few members playing for pleasure into a club which caters both for people who want to play to participate in their favourite sport and for the elite performer. Playing out of Broughton Park at Hough End, Chorlton, club membership has risen from a handful of willing volunteers at the first few training sessions to 52 members at the end of year 1, to over 70 members in it's second year with the club expected to grow by at least 10% in year 3. In year 1, the club staged several high profile events, hosting the England V Ireland amateur international and the early rounds of the Carnegie Champion Schools Cup, in 2010 the club secured it's first silverware when the first team were crowned Champions of the North West regional league in 2011 the club is gearing up for success on and off the field.
