The Mandala Chain Foundation is one of three key entities governing the MandalaChain ecosystem. We are responsible for the ecosystem's treasury, governance, operations, and community development. Mandala is the Blockchain where Government & Enterprise applications integrate seamlessly with Public & Retail applications. It is a network built to bridge the gap between Emerging and Global Blockchain Markets. Our first use case is Indonesia, where strategic resources and partnerships give us advantages we can leverage to expand into broader markets. Indonesia, the 4th largest population globally, is poised for blockchain adoption. Projected to become the 4th largest country by GDP in 2040, it consists of a young tech-savvy demographic that has already embraced the ethos of blockchain. Couple this with government-friendly explorations to incorporate blockchain infrastructure and you have a perfect storm for onboarding millions of new users and use cases. As the winner of Parachain slot auction 64 in March 2024, Mandala will be an EVM-compatible smart contract blockchain built on Polkadot using Substrate. By utilizing Polkadot's existing security and interoperability frameworks, Mandala can focus on developing use cases, securing partnerships, and seamlessly connecting non-native crypto users from permissioned government/enterprise blockchains to permissionless DApps on our public blockchain. Our first use case, IDCHAIN, is a decentralized identity solution created in partnership with a key government appointed entity. It is projected to bring more than 10 million wallets (conservatively) on-chain. Other use cases under development include Banking, Medical Insurance, and RWA tokenization. These partnerships and agreements are the stepping stones towards onboarding the next 100 million users into Web3, and for Mandala to serve as a gateway between global and emerging blockchain markets.
