Mangal Charitable Trust was Established in the year 1975 with the name 'Mangal Seva Samiti'. Mangal Charitable Trust is one of the eminent Non-Profit Organizations which helps economically backward people and those living below poverty line. Mangal Charitable trust provides educational facilities as well. They help in making future bright through education and they do so by providing free books. During these 43 years, the trust has helped thousands of underprivileged people by providing much needed services in the areas of health & hygiene, education, food, clothing and arranging mass marriages. In addition to this, the trust regularly - 1. Every Month Trust Provides 5kg wheat, and 5 kg Bajra (in winters) 500grm Khichdi, to almost 680 needy families, since last 22.5 years. 2. Trust organizes Medical Camp free of cost and provides free medicines for the poor patients. 3. Trust provides Hot bags, Ice bags, Water sticks, Thermometers, Walkers etc. free of cost to the poor. 4. Events like "Yatra Pravas" and "Dharmik Katha" (Devotional Sessions) are regularly held for senior citizens and other interested peoples. 5. Provide Polio Vaccination to children between 0 – 12 years of age free of cost 6. Provide artificial limbs to specially able /handicapped individuals. 7. Trust provides education facilities, school fees, books, school bags etc. to the poor families. They also provide Safari magazines to children free of cost. 8. Music class/tuition is arranged free of cost for people in Bhavnagar 9. Trust accepts surplus food after any of your social occasions for poor people.
