ManKiwwa is a civic-tech platform empowering citizens and transforming public service delivery across Sri Lanka. Built to bridge the gap between citizens and local/state authorities, it offers real-time incident reporting and public asset management via intuitive mobile and web interfaces. Citizens can instantly report issues such as broken streetlights, waste mismanagement, water leaks, or damaged roads using their smartphones—eliminating the need for physical visits, paperwork, and delays. Each report is geo-tagged and sent to the correct department, creating a transparent and trackable service experience with real-time updates. Authorities benefit from a powerful backend with department-wise dashboards, automated work order generation, status tracking, citizen messaging, and data analytics. The system supports 10 user licenses per authority and includes onboarding and ongoing technical support. Beyond local councils, ManKiwwa can be deployed in urban development bodies, provincial departments, ministries, and police stations. Each authority gets its own dashboards, user roles, and workflows—enabling seamless expansion. As more entities join, citizens gain unified access to engage with multiple authorities in one platform. The platform also supports public asset management, enabling authorities to track and manage infrastructure like streetlights, culverts, and roads. Assets are geo-mapped, allowing field coordination, scheduled maintenance, cost tracking, document handling (e.g., insurance, SLAs), and expiry alerts. Now active in several councils, ManKiwwa has helped authorities reduce issue management costs by over 50% and achieve ROI levels exceeding 900% in just one year.
