The aim at Mannequin is very simple: innovative PR support for artists, creative projects and businesses. We aim to know your business first, develop a PR approach that works for you, and then build your profile in all forms of media. This involves creating the right kind of 'on message' PR strategy, writing and researching press releases and building longer feature ideas.
I set up Mannequin PR in April 2011 to provide innovative PR support. In 2011 Mannequin worked on a lead project for Oxjam, working on the newly introduced Oxjam Takeover concept, generating considerable media interest. Mannequin was also shortlisted for a leading PR award in 2012 for the 'innovative PR campaign' that was specifically designed for the Oxjam Oxford Takeover.
Mannequin has also worked on a number range of different PR strategies for businesses, designing PR strategies for Arc Fab Ltd, The Riveted Narrowboat Company and Junction Art Gallery. Another important project was working with Oxfordshire County Council on delivering the PR and communications of the OxOnline better broadband infrastructure project, working with Oxfordshire residents and businesses to understand their specific needs.
Mannequin has built up a substantial network of key contacts in the arts and wider sectors while working on bespoke PR campaigns for our artistic artistic clients which include Emmie van Biervliet, Serena Thirkell, Alex Wride, Paul Forsey and Louise Chavannes.
