Manobal Foundation : A New beginning

Manobal is involved in anti-human trafficking efforts through interception, reporting, rescue, rehabilitation, repatriation and restoration. We provide 24×7 help to people in need of liberation from trafficking. We conduct intelligence-based operations and rescue sex trafficking victims with the help of the police. Manobal strives to support survivors of sex-trafficking in every phase of their journey to freedom; through counselling, legal help, and mentorship. We ‘walk’ with the victim all the way to her restoration and reintegration back in the society. We also strive to empower survivors to overcome their traumatic past and be the leading voice in shaping policy and public awareness. Manobal is founded by Nirmala Walter, a social worker who has been working relentlessly to rescue girls and women from brothels and sex rackets in India, for over 15 years. She has won accolades and awards from Delhi Police for her unflinching effort in stopping sex trafficking in Delhi, West Bengal, UP, Punjab and Maharashtra.
