About ManTech (NeXolve)

NeXolve is a wholly owned subsidiary of ManTech International Corporation. NeXolve's roots go back to SRS Technologies. In 1970, SRS Technologies was formed as a small business in Newport Beach, CA, by Mr. Sandy Sandhu and some colleagues. The first satellite office was opened in Huntsville, AL in 1979 and started with a Missile Defense contract. The Huntsville business unit of SRS became known as the Systems Technology Group. During an internal reorganization within SRS, the units were all redesignated as divisions and the Systems Technology Group became the Systems Solutions Division. In 2007, SRS Technologies was acquired by ManTech International Corporation. In May 2007, SRS Technologies became ManTech SRS Technologies. After some internal reorganizations/realignments, Systems Solution Division was moved from ManTech SRS to ManTech Defense Systems Group, effective 1 Jan 2009. Along with this realignment, Systems Solutions Division was redesignated as the NeXolve Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ManTech. NeXolve, due to internal growth, moved in Nov 2008 from 500 Discovery Drive to its new location at 655 Discovery Drive, Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL. NeXolve employs 175 personnel, approximately 115 of which are located here in the Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal community, with the others primarily at Colorado Springs. The majority of NeXolve's government work remains in support of Missile Defense and space-related activities. NeXolve also is a leading provider of polyimide thin film products to NASA and major commercial customers, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. One of NeXolves larger programs is the James Webb Space Telescope, for which NeXolve is providing the five layer sunshields. The James Webb telescope will replace the Hubble telescope.
