Everyone who has ever installed plywood and lumber backing within metal framed walls hates it. It's tedious, boring, a time suck, expensive and often causes minor fingertip injuries. This was true for the inventor as well. During a 5000 piece backing project, the inventor, a union carpenter, thought there had to be a better way. Finding no significant solution on-line, he made the first iteration of our backing clips. That was 2011. We revised designs and created a ton of value into our clips. Then we field tested them in Seattle with major firms in Hospitals, Educational facilities and offices projects. We had great success and repeat customers. In fact the orders were so overwhelming that we needed to outsource manufacturing. (The garage shop was only able to produce 350 clips a day at best). We have since engaged with RRR manufacturing in Canton, Ohio for some of our clips. And we've added to our business management with the elevation of one of our Invested Partners to CEO. Deidra Mitchell is guiding Mantisgrip through the next stage of our growth; Acquiring market share, additional manufacturing, and solid business administration. We have expanded our sales force and marketing efforts. We've stocked our warehouse and moved our field office to Issaquah, WA.
