Mantis is a Zurich-based start-up in the computer vision field. We build AI-driven camera systems that enable ski resorts to run their chairlifts and gondolas autonomously.
Through a set of cameras our software detects dangerous situations during boarding and offloading of ropeways and stop them if required. This is more cost-effective and reliable than a human operator and mitigates the rising issue of staffing shortage.
Our goal is to bring Mantis to the entire snow sports industry to make ropeways safer and more economical for ski resorts. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to help push our product to the market. If you are interested in working with us, please get in touch.
