AIS Manuplas is a specialist manufacturer of foam and polymer based products specifically focused on the following industries: - Offshore - Leisure - Marine - Renewables - Composites Examples of typical products manufactured include Surface and Subsurface based Buoys and Flotation, Boat Fendering Systems, Polyurethane Mouldings, Composite Materials and Play Structures. Manuplas was founded in 2003 and has a dynamic management team with over 20 years of experience in marine engineering and composites manufacturing. Manuplas also have specialist knowledge regarding the processing of polyurethane elastomers. Originally a successful marine business, Manuplas has spent the last 8 years expanding its capabilities. Significant investment in both Research and Development and “state of the art” production equipment has enabled Manuplas to offer a viable alternative to more established brands existing in the marketplace. AIS Manuplas has just acquired a second factory in Plymouth to more than double the size of its manufacturing operations. This will facilitate Manuplas’ expansion of production capacity of its range of offshore products.
