ManxIX

Founded in 2020, ManxIX is the first and only internet exchange on the Isle of Man to enable networks, content providers and businesses to exchange internet traffic through a fully independent, not-for-profit peering point. It is listed on Peeringdb.com and a member of Euro-IX. The aim of ManxIX is to help its members increase network resilience, reduce latency and decrease overall traffic backhaul costs to the global internet. ManxIX raises awareness of the purpose and importance of a solid internet exchange infrastructure on the Isle of Man. It brings value to the Island by promoting cooperation between network operators, improving the quality of local traffic and attracting national and international companies in need of interconnection capability on the Isle of Man.
