We are committed to supporting open-access, pro-active, evidence-based zoo management across taxa through research collaborations We seek to: Unite animal care professionals and academic researchers who share common zoo research goals Provide guidance for (1) researchers seeking to lead research in zoos by connecting them and providing AZA resources to oversee their own multi-institution projects and for (2) zoo professionals interested in the data collection and/or animal welfare aspect by connecting them with academics who have necessary research resources
