Map Medicine has developed mixed-reality anatomy visualization software for off-the-shelf mixed reality headsets (Meta Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro). The core principle of the technology is displaying medical imaging (CT scans, MRIs) and segmented anatomy registered to patients in the OR. The primary goal of this product is to decrease operative time and complication rates. We are enabling surgeons and radiologists to see into patients before they cut or do a biopsy. Our initial focus and application for our technology is the visualization of perforator arteries in flap surgeries.
