About Mapping for Environmental Justice
We are committed to raising awareness of the disproportionate impacts of environmental issues on vulnerable populations, with the goal of promoting environmental justice. Mapping for Environmental Justice (MEJ) provides high quality, easy-to-use, and community-informed environmental justice maps. We provide technical assistance to organizations that wish to use these maps for advocacy and decision-making. MEJ’s maps and the conversations they engender are one piece in the process of preventing future environmental injustices and remediating past harm.
