MAPSS - Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students

MAPSS - Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students, is a non-governmental organization founded in 2006, at the Faculty of Political Science (University of Montenegro), in Podgorica, Montenegro. The fundamental and primary aim of MAPSS is to contribute to the improvement of political science students’ status through organizing a set of events (panel discussions, conferences, discussions, debates, public lectures, simulations, etc). MAPSS also tends to improve conditions for scientific, educational and cultural cooperation between associations and other organizations with similar activities both those in Montenegro and those in other countries. MAPSS consists of thirty members. Some of the organization’s previous (and current) projects include: Diplomatic Course, Simulation of the Montenegrin Parliament, Ambassador Days, IAPSS Academic Conference – “Challenges to the Global Political Economy”, MAPSS's Forum of Political Science, Visits to the Parliament of Montenegro, „Let’s negotiate“.
