Maptor (MakanNegar)

Maptor (MakanNegar) is an open-source spatial framework. Originally launched in October 2017- Iran's first open-source spatial project - it provides foundational tools for geospatial data processing, visualization, and analysis. The framework offers modular components for developing custom GIS applications. As a community-driven initiative (not a commercial entity), Maptor serves as a free alternative to proprietary spatial platforms, enabling researchers, developers, and organizations to work with geographic data.
