MARACA Association

Created in 2022 in Geneva, Maraca is a non-profit, apolitical, non-confessional and independent association. Maraca is committed to promoting a just and united world where all human beings live in dignity while preserving the environment. Its mission is to contribute to protecting the climate, biodiversity and marine ecosystems as well as sustainable community development. Maraca works primarily with coastal and island communities in the province of Cabo Delgado in Mozambique. Maraca aims to preserve the environment, improve living conditions sustainably, strengthen local resilience and capacity for action, inform and raise awareness and contribute to the generation and sharing of knowledge.
