Marais-Lucas is a joint venture created in 2009 between Australia’s AJ Lucas Group and French engineering firm Groupe Marais SA.
Based in France, Groupe Marais is the European leader in micro trenching technology. In the past decade, Groupe Marais have installed more than 40,000km of networks in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America and have 27 patents for their trenching solutions.
Australia’s AJ Lucas is a leader in high pressure gas pipeline installation and trenchless technologies. Lucas has built pipelines across Australia for more than 30 years and broke many world records with its Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) techniques.
Together, Marais-Lucas offers the Telecommunications, Energy and Utilities sectors leading-edge trenching technology, patented systems and reliable project delivery. From busy urban areas to remote rural sites, our network installations are fast, cost-effective and efficient.
Marais-Lucas has offices in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and New Zealand. We are a member of the Clean Energy Council (CEC), the peak body representing Australia’s clean energy sector. We support the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
