A BETTER SCIENCE Recent events in public policy have put a spotlight on the scientific community, science, and their role within government, media, and the public. We march to bridge the distance between science and society. We march to showcase Chicago as The Science City. We march toward an ethical science. Now is the time to take a stand for science and the communities it affects. WHO WE ARE We are scientists. We are enthusiasts. We are supporters. We are Chicagoans. Science is meaningful to all of us whether we are scientists ourselves, enthusiasts of science, or simply Chicagoans that value a method to uncover truth. We were motivated to become a guardian of science despite our differences. Our diversity strengthens us.
