I was a Director of the Crypto, Fintech and Web3 Lab at Harvard University, where I led a team of researchers and students to explore the impact and potential of blockchain, digital currencies, and fintech on the economy, society, and the future of finance. I was also a Finance Professor at Harvard Business School, where I taught MBA and executive courses on fintech, blockchain, and the economics of digitization. With over 10 years of experience in academic and applied research, focused on financial intermediation, AI, and crypto, I have published extensively in leading academic peer-reviewed journals and my work has been widely cited by outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times, The Economist, Bloomberg, Institutional Investor, and Forbes. Poets and Quants named me to its list of the Best 40 Under 40 Business School Professors. I am also an active advisor, board member, and consultant for several leading fintech, crypto and TradFi organizations, such as Coinbase, Mina Foundation, Sperax, Dimensional Fund Advisors, and GBK Collective.
