Marco Polo Designs is the premiere designer and producer of fine art-glass jewelry. Our exclusive designs are based on custom Marco Polo Designs lampwork beads, which owners Claude and Penny Cruz design and prototype in Venice and Murano, Italy, during two trips per year. We work with a handful of the leading Italian glassworking artisan families, who hand-make our production-volume beads one by one, exclusively for Marco Polo Designs. Our talented jewelry-maker staff use these beads to handcraft our spectacular jewelry designs, in our airy studio in Portland, Oregon. We use only the finest jewelry ingredients, such as sterling silver and custom-plated 24k gold vermeil "liquid metal" stringing and sterling findings. We wholesale our jewelry through about 150 of the top glass and fine American handcrafts galleries in the US, as well as through a growing number of fine jewelers.
