We provide full-service financial management to our clients through Investment Advisor Representatives (who are held to the highest fiduciary duty) and not through Brokers or “Dual-Registered’s” (who are not). We don’t have (or sell) any in-house or proprietary funds (which would create conflicts of interest) and we earn zero commissions from trading (goodbye, excessive transaction costs). We simply act in the best interest of our clients by applying insights from Financial Science. Our investment approach is grounded in economic theory and backed by decades of empirical research. Instead of attempting to predict the future or outguess others, we are freed to spend time where we believe we have an advantage—namely in how we interpret research, how we design and manage portfolios and how we service our clients. We take a less subjective, more systematic approach to investing—an approach we can implement consistently and investors can understand and stick with, even in challenging market environments. And while technology has made investing within a SINGLE account very efficient, managing a household’s MULTIPLE accounts (each taxed completely differently and usually held across multiple financial institutions) still requires manual, live, personal thinking. So we combine technology with fiduciary-only advisors to manage your various accounts as a WHOLE. (Think: current Employer Plan + Traditional IRA + Roth IRA + former Employer Plan + Trust Account + etc.—times *two* if you're married.) If that sounds complex, it is. But we make it simple.
