Maria Gitto is an Emmy-nominated creative director, copywriter and video producer with expertise in developing multiplatform campaigns that are highly creative and results-driven.
After a successful run at The Walt Disney Company, Maria left to launch a creative consultancy, with Disney as her first client. She's created and produced content across multiple media, including five digital-first series for Discovery.
Clients have included: Discovery, tbs, E!, CMT, USA Network, ABC, Disney-ABC Digital Media and several more divisions of The Walt Disney Company.
At Disney, Maria led an in-house creative group that developed co-branded campaigns for business units across the company, such as Disney Parks & Resorts and The Walt Disney Studios (including Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar).
Beyond Disney, she's led other in-house teams and held creative positions at global ad agencies like Grey, FCB, RAPP Worldwide and Leo Burnett.
Maria is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and a voting member of the Primetime Emmy Awards. Her proudest achievements include an Emmy nomination and the rescue/adoption of her adorable Terrier mix, Junior.
