Our founder, Elizabeth, began this raw diet journey for her own dog, Pudge, when he struggled with a typical dry kibble diet. Dogs will naturally seek out food sources that make up for deficiencies in their diet, and Pudge began seeking carcasses and animal parts on their regular hikes. She started making Pudge’s food herself, and her partnerships with local farms grew through seeking the best sources of raw meat for Pudge’s health. Today, we have a robust supply of nutritious raw dog food that is 100% humanely raised. We created this product because we wanted the best raw dog food for our own dogs, and we wanted that to be available for all other dogs.
