Marina Murad

I am an award-winning designer and art director living in Los Angeles. I create unique visual advertising campaigns for the entertainment & tech industries. I spent my formative years in Redlands, California. After earning a BA in Fine Art from University of California, Riverside, I moved to Los Angeles to study Graphic Design at Art Center College of Design, then completed my MFA degree at Otis College of Art and Design. I also studied in Amsterdam, mentoring under prominent Dutch design figures and touring various design studios, participating in workshops and lectures. My work has been shown on the covers of Adweek, and Advertising Age magazines. Apple, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Mattel Games, Snapchat, Yahoo, Verizon Media, DC Comics, Los York, R/GA, Phenomenon, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Live Nation, Disney, The Hollywood Reporter, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and various Los Angeles based start-ups and businesses. In my free time, I like to stay up to date with California’s vibrant art scene, visiting art galleries, and participating in exhibitions. I also push myself both mentally and physically by learning to fly a Cessna and with strength training. Breaking into the unknown and unexpected is what drives me and in turn, inspires innovation in the work I create.
