MARINA project, funded under Horizon 2020, aims to integrate citizens’ visions, needs and desires into science and innovation.
We promote Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) while focusing on marine issues and pressures that have significant effects on the European societies. We work on eight strategic marine hot topic issues: Sea transportation, Deep sea mining, Marine change caused by climate, Renewable energy, Tourism and coastal cities, Fishing and aquaculture, Pollution caused by human land, Sea pressures.
