Marinasol

Marinasol is the biggest aquaculture company of farmed shrimp production in Peru, currently exporting to Asia, Europe, and America. It is part of the GRUPO DC. It has 1,200 hectares of shrimp ponds in the north cost of Peru, producing over 20,000 tons per year, what makes it an important source of employment, with 2,500 direct workers. Marinasol is responsible for all the farmed shrimp production process, from the hatchery of shrimp larvae to the farms where super intensive technology is used to enable a year-round production, and finally the processing plants with a state-of-the-art technology where the production is processed and packaged in different presentations of farmed shrimps, certified in HACCP, BRC, BASC and BAP ensuring the high standards of safety and quality of its products.
