The DTU Maritime Centre coordinates cross-cutting maritime activities at DTU within research, teaching, innovation, and scientific advice.
Maritime DTU is the point of contact for cross-cutting collaboration between DTU and external parties, including businesses, authorities, and other universities. In addition, Maritime DTU is represented in relevant maritime steering groups and partnerships.
The centre aims to:
- Strengthen the collaboration with the Danish maritime cluster The Blue Denmark on research and education.
- Coordinate and facilitate business-oriented, interdisciplinary research.
- Ensure training of several maritime engineers with broad skill sets.
- Strengthen research collaboration with other universities, nationally and internationally.
