Maritime Connect provides quality assured ships' chartering courses, maritime law courses, seminars, and consultancy services by industry expert instructors and consultants. About /Founder: Capt. Mohamed Bazina Served aboard different types of vessels for esteemed companies, including United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) holding Master Mariner License. I pursued extensive education in shipping, specializing in maritime law and chartering. Obtained master’s degree in Maritime Transportation Management from New York Maritime College and further honed expertise by completing the Advanced Chartering Diploma from the Association of Shipbrokers and Agents (USA) and attended chartering courses at Lloyds Maritime Academy in London as well as BIMCO chartering courses. Experience: I brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in the shipping industry, having been involved in diverse roles across its spectrum. My journey includes tenure with a logistics and chartering firm in New Jersey before joining the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Alexandria. At AASTMT, I taught maritime law, chartering, Shipmaster Business, while also delivering tailored courses for leading organizations such as Kuwait Oil Company. Additionally, I provided expertise in resolving commercial maritime disputes and served as a team leader for legal advisory matters. I joined for 17-years Qatar Energy in different of maritime operations roles in Ras Laffan Port and serving on the Maritime Committee of the State of Qatar, offering insights into maritime legal aspects. I've also been a prominent speaker at Time & Voyage Chartering seminars across the Middle East. Our aim is to provide quality-assured courses and consultancy services at reasonable cost, ensure that our participants and clients benefit from the latest insights and best practices, enhancing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, minimizing operational, chartering, and legal risks for their organizations.
