Service Through the Power of Information Marketdrive Interactive was a pioneer in the automotive Customer Relationship Management software space. The company was the first provider of personalized websites dedicated to vehicle owners. Marketdrive’s software powered the owner sites for several large auto manufacturers including BMW, MINI, Toyota, Lexus and Subaru. In addition, the company provided a SaaS-based white-labeled solution to hundreds of franchised and independent dealers. In March 2000, Classified Ventures wholly acquired Marketdrive Interactive and integrated Marketdrive’s product portfolio into its Cars.com dealer offering. In only 17 months, Marketdrive had established itself as the leader in the newly created automotive CRM space. The Marketdrive product was rebranded Dealer Center and continued to be marketed, sold and supported by the Cars.com network.
