Marko&Placemakers is a London-based consultancy offering tailored design-led advice for cities drawing on transformational principles of placemaking and green urbanism. Our team of urban designers, researchers and architects with a unique combination of skills in city design, urban strategies, masterplanning, user engagement and development frameworks is working across the public, private and third sectors. We strive to support local economies through understanding their entrepreneurial potential, develop masterplans with the capacity to evolve into livable neighbourhoods, envision public realm strategies that trigger sharing and mental ownership of public space, and uncover and celebrate the character of places through combining our practical experience in design with strong analytical, communication, social and interpersonal skills.
