About Marmara Capital Asset Management

Marmara Capital Asset Management was established in June 2015, and authorized by the Turkish Capital Markets Board. Marmara is partly owned by Scandinavian investors and managed by its controlling shareholder Haydar Acun. The founding partners have substantial international experience in the asset management and brokerage business. Between 2006 and 2014 they successfully ran Sardis Securities, a boutique brokerage firm known for its bold and value-driven research. Marmara Capital took over the Sardis Turkish Equity Fund in October 2015, a long-only fund with UCITS-like traits.
