Maroudas SA specializes in importing and distributing premium men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, footwear and accessories. The Company was founded by Constantine Maroudas in 1933. Until 1975 the Company solely imported and traded textiles from renowned foreign houses.
In 1975 the Company’s management passes on to the family’s second generation (Marios and George Maroudas) and the first retail store opens in Heraklion (27 Kalokerinou Street). In 1983 the Company commences a franchise agreement with United Colors of Benetton and the first such store opens in Heraklion. Several major collaborations in franchise ensue and the corresponding stores open (Hugo Boss, Max Mara, Gant, Paul & Shark).
Today the Company boasts 11 stores throughout Crete (8 in Heraklion, 1 in Chania, 1 in Rethymnon and 1 in Ierapetra) collaborating with over 40 international suppliers (Moncler, Stone Island, Tods, Corneliani, Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hugo Boss, La Martina, Boggi Milano etc.)
