"I was born in shoes” says London-based Icelandic designer Marta Jonsson and that's where the story started! After developing her passion for shoes in a little boutique shoe shop in Reykjavik, Marta moved to London to follow her dream and set up her own design and wholesale shoe business. In the years that followed, Marta designed and supplied shoes for some of the leading footwear retailers across Europe and her shoes have been worn by celebrities, dignitaries and royalty around the world. This led to Marta launching her own brand, simply called Marta Jonsson. At the forefront of style and fashion, she offers beautifully sophisticated shoes that are simply a pleasure to wear. Involved in every step of the process, from design and fitting through to the shop floor Marta has an eternal desire to deliver outstanding design, quality and service and her shoes are created to meet the exacting requirements of busy, fashion-conscious modern women and men.
