Martiability

Martiability provides martial arts training specifically targeted towards individuals with disabilities, long term injuries or other barriers that prevent them from accessing mainstream martial arts classes. Classes and workshops are run by Luka Griffin, who has 20 years of martial arts experience as well as a Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science. Classes are tailored towards each student’s personal goals and abilities. The aim is for students to learn a traditional martial art to their fullest potential. All techniques and sets are break-downs and adaptations of those taught in the traditional kung fu system –Kong Hing Kung Fu. Other key benefits are, achieving rehab goals in a fun way, becoming part of a supportive and connected community, gaining social confidence, being included and recognised for your abilities and not left out due to your disabilities.
