Martin Geomatic Consultants Ltd. (MGCL) is a civil engineering and surveying firm providing comprehensive services to the public and private sectors in Southern Alberta, British Columbia, as well as throughout Canada and the United States.
The firm was founded in 1961 by Dalton Martin, A.L.S., C.L.S., as a legal survey firm and expanded to include municipal engineering services in 1973. Over the past 50 years, we have expanded to the point where MGCL employs approximately twenty people which includes two individuals with an Alberta Land Surveyor commission and Canada Land Surveyor commission, five individuals with Professional Engineer designation (APEGA, EGBC), and numerous Technologists and Technicians. MGCL has developed extensive experience and expertise in the planning, design, and construction management of land development, municipal infrastructure and transportation projects in Southern Alberta and British Columbia. Furthermore, we have extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of surveying services including legal and construction surveys. MGCL provides the following professional services.
