Martin Hopp founded MHA in 2013 after ten years as project director of Rafael Vinoly Architects, bringing his experience delivering complex projects around the world to a boutique studio culture based on research and in-depth collaboration with clients.

MHA is one of the first firms to use cross-laminated timber as an alternative to steel or concrete structures in New York and has delivered award-winning projects based on improving environmental quality and user experience.
