Martin James Foundation is a global charity and network of organisations working toward a world where children grow up and thrive in safe, loving families. This includes MJF Global and Key Assets organisations in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, which deliver family-based care and support. We believe every child has the right to grow up in a safe, loving family. Families provide the stability, care, and connection that children need to thrive. Around the world, too many children are still growing up separated from their families, often due to poverty, discrimination, or a lack of support. We’re working to change that by strengthening families and the systems that support them. Our goal is simple: every child in a safe, loving family. We’re part of a global movement to end unnecessary family separation and ensure children grow up where they belong. We work alongside organisations that strengthen care systems, expand access to family-based care, and advocate for policies that prioritise families over orphanages. Key Assets supports children and families through foster care, community-based programmes, and family support services tailored to local needs. MJF Global partners with organisations that are leading change in their communities, providing flexible funding, advocacy, and research to support community-led, contextually grounded solutions.
