This 1-year, Master of Advanced Studies ETH in Computational Structural Design (MAS ETH CSD) integrates architecture and engineering, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration. The programme equips participants with advanced computational skills to lead innovation and sustainability efforts in the AEC industry. It is a hands-on, and industry-led case studies programme, offered by Block Research Group (BRG), Chair of Architecture and Structures, Institute of Technology in Architecture, Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich.
The programme uniquely combines state of the art tools and methods of computational (architectural) geometry, engineering analysis, and building information modelling, with modern industry standards and cross-disciplinary project delivery mechanisms to develop innovative (structural) solutions that can be implemented in professional practice today, and have real impact on the challenges of the AEC industry.
It is designed for students, researchers, and practitioners in architecture, structural engineering, building technology, and computational design.
Applications will be received between March and May 2025, with the programme starting in October 2025.
