Mass Island Corp

Established in 2020, "Mass Island" was previously a Minecraft server operated by few young musicians. In February 2024, Mass Island became the world's first Minecraft server that released original music albums and held concerts. Today's Mass Island is a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation dedicated to charitable citizenship education based on original, multicultural music, arts, events, and projects. Mass Island is powered by passion, talent, diversity, innovation, and social responsibilities. Through educational projects, we inspire next-gen artists to become citizens who embrace diverse culture and aesthetics, critically and independently think, engage in lifelong learning, and care about their peers and communities. We also inspire parents and schools to reform arts education and build an "ecosystem" that helps citizenship education. We partner with global industry-leading organizations, schools, and institutions to benefit more families and communities with our art-based citizenship education. We contribute to a fair and just society by delivering quality and affordable arts and educational resources to low-income and underserved communities. We are also developing our own educational video game software. We currently conduct businesses in the US, China, South Korea, and Australia. Mass Island is also a diverse team with 20 corporate staffs in 5 time zones, plus a 60-performer orchestra near Boston. More than 50% of us are racial minorities, and our national origins can be traced back to 15 countries. As a creative business, our corporation survives on policies promoting diversity and maximizing artists' freedom of expression. We will see you in our melodies!
