Master Hellie’s Engineering Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd is a company registered in January 2009 as an Engineering Consulting firm specifically oriented to undertake mainly the Highway Traffic and Transportation related consultancy work. The firm has the specific capacity for transport planning, traffic management, highway design, construction supervision, construction management, transportation surveys and research, traffic safety, parking design, traffic signal and intersection designs and many more through highly professional leadership. We have completed more than 300 km length of major highway detailed designs project of A & B Class roads of Road development Authority (RDA) of Sri Lanka. More than 100 medium and major bridges in RDA Roads have been designed for design – built contractors over last few years. The MHEC have been involved with a large number of Hydrology studies in the last seven years at large scale. The 45 Bridge Project Island wide for JBSI / RDA was one of the major hydrology project completed by MHEC within a short period of time. The economic studies for transportation sector, traffic management planning have been extensively done and completed successfully at major scale for very important projects in Sri Lanka. Significant number of Environmental studies (EA, IEE, EIA), have been completed for Major projects such as Colombo Flood Mitigations Projects for MCUDP/UDA , DAM Safety Projects for Mahaweli Authority etc . In additions to above specific designs and studies, we have completed other civil engineering consultancy work such as stability study of Polpitiya Power house due to Broadlands new Power house, for CEB, Storm Water Drainage design in Township project for University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Detailed design of Bastian Mawatha Bus Stand layout, DIMO Advance Driver Training Track at Sooriyawewa. MHEC has got involved in designs, economic studies, and traffic management plan for almost all flyovers in Western Province to date.
