The Master in Services Engineering and Management (MESG) has an engineering approach that is a distinctive characteristic compared to other Service Masters. This engineering approach involves three main aspects:
- Systems approach to address service systems that integrate, people, processes and technologies (e.g. health care).
- Process design and management, since services are processes and activities.
- ICT competencies to address the pervasive technology-enabled services.
- Strong CDIO engineering approach, with project-based learning to develop competencies so students can conceive, develop, implement, and operate service systems, with a strong focus on technology-enabled service systems.
