Master 2 EF - Economics & Finance MBFA Lyon 2

Master 2 EF trains future researchers and senior executives in macroeconomics, finance, governance & econometrics. The objective is to enable students to acquire advanced knowledge in two of the following four areas: - Macroeconomics (Business cycles; Growth; Monetary economics; International economics; Labor) - Financial Market (Hedging; Portfolio management; Behavioral finance; Financial econometrics) - Financial Governance (Corporate finance; Behavioral corporate finance; Private equity) - Quantitative Tools for Economics & Finance (Python; Time series; Forecast; Risk) The program's lecturers are academics from the Université Lumière Lyon 2, the EM Lyon, the Université Jean Monnet de Saint-Etienne & CNRS. During the second part of the Master 2, students complete an internship carried out in a research laboratory or a company. Master 2 EF naturally opens the door to enrolling in a doctoral program. Graduates can also work in financial and non-financial companies, as specialized consultants in the field of finance or economic policy, or in high-level positions in major companies, financial institutions, and international organizations.
