Master Economic Cooperation and International Business Law

The Master 2 in Economic Cooperation and International Business Law, delocalised in Hanoi, is a prestigious course offering international students the opportunity to study in South East Asia. The direction of the Master alternates each year between the University of Toulouse Capitole 1, the University of Bordeaux and the University of Lyon 3, with the aim of training lawyers specialising in international law, with the possibility of carrying out an internship if they wish. Indeed, the timetable is specifically designed to offer students this choice, with classes running from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Students must write a research paper or an internship report, which will be evaluated by a Franco-Vietnamese jury at the end of the course. They are free to choose their subject, since the course is eclectic: the subjects taught alternates between public and private law, from environmental law, or regional integration, to banking law, and international intellectual property law. The students trained are thus specialised, while having a rich reference base enabling them to develop a critical mind. The University also offers students Vietnamese language classes three times a week to familiarise them with the local language and culture. Since its creation in 2001, it has evolved and adapted its teaching to take into account the economic development of Vietnam and the countries of the sub-region, in order to allow the students to be qualified according to the major legal problems of the country.
