Masterparts was founded in South Africa in August 1975 with the goal of providing auto shops and the public with an extensive range of high-quality engine parts. In the early 2000s, the range was extended to include suspension and steering components, and shortly thereafter, braking components, radiators, wheel bearings, clutch kits and more. More recently, it has expanded further to include a wide selection of electronic components. Today, Masterparts stocks over 55,000 items for more than 4,000 vehicle models. Our mission is to continue providing the widest possible selection of car parts – including hard-to-find items – while maintaining a depth of knowledge and technical ability that exceeds that of our competitors. To achieve this, we draw on 50 years of experience in the aftermarket parts and spares industry. Masterparts currently employs over 600 people across 14 branches, with a distribution centre and head office in Cape Town.
