Matcha Tea Co is backed by three close friends with a passion for healthy living. Growing up on the south west coast of Australia, a healthy and active lifestyle has been ingrained in us from a young age. Whether we’re crunching numbers at work, catching an early yoga class or an evening wave, we’re always on the move and need all the energy we can get from what we eat and drink. Our lifestyles eventually led us to trying Matcha Tea – and we haven’t looked back since! What we love about Matcha is not only the benefits we’ve gained from it, but the versatility that we, and many others, have discovered it has! From a hot latte on a cold day, to a refreshing pre-gym green shake, to a matcha infused smoothie bowl to get through the afternoon grind - we can’t get enough! What’s constantly surprised us however, was how hard it could be to get our hands on good quality Matcha, and without an exorbitant price tag!
