Automation and new digital technologies will change our future workplace tremendously. Simultaneously, as machines take over problem solving, digitally literate employees will apply the emerging technologies to solve the companies biggest challenges creatively. This requires a new digital mindset and skills that are uniquely human e.g. Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Productivity, Creativity and Emotional Intelligence (EI). Skills that machines and computers can’t take over in the future. We call it Digital Fluency. Research has shown, that women who score higher on tests of EI, tend to have a more collaborative and inclusive leadership style than men. Now is the moment for digitally fluent female professionals to gain an advantage.
