Matemasie

Matemasie is an educational organization and network established to bring increased awareness, health and wealth through innovative programs that combine ancient traditions and diverse knowledge systems with modern innovations science & technology, arts and culture. The collective focus of the professionals and programs associated with the organization is to improve physical, mental, emotional, social and economic conditions particularly for the benefit of children and youth, at home, in school and in the community. We build relationships and empower individuals of any age to make a difference. When individuals are strengthened, they become more confident and this radiates outwardly. As positivity is affirmed and reflected back, even if subtly, individuals quite naturally feel empowered and take greater interest to affect the world around them. Spheres of influence grow with increased interest and responsibility ('ability to respond'). There is then potential to become motivated to improve conditions, and thus become changemakers. Matemasie engages and encourages each participant to develop and bring unique aptitudes, gifts and skills; to step outside comfort zones, beyond vocation and cultural identity; to experience, grow and to help create diverse, vibrant, and interactive communities, with caring and passion, through volunteerism and service.
