About MATENERCAT
MATENERCAT research group , at INCAR-CSIC, has extensive experience both in the design and production of materials with highly controlled structures and physicochemical properties, and in the application of these materials in electrochemical devices (lithium ion batteries, sodium ion batteries, dual ion batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, electrolysers, sensors, etc). The ultimate goal of our research activity is to increase the performance and useful life of these devices, minimizing the environmental impact associated with their manufacture, use and recycling.
